This jewelry box was my great-grandmother’s. And while I love it and love pink it has seen better days and just needs to go with the stuff I have in my room a bit better.
This is its original color.
I painted on one coat of white. I used a normal paint brush but if you are not wanting the texture I would recommend 1. using a sponge brush or 2. using spray paint.
For this project I used the same paint as on my Father’s Day Gift . It is Rustoleum Chalked Paint in Linen White. It is great for many projects and I really like it. You can get it at any home improvement store.
After another couple of coats and a few touchups this is the end result. Now no project I ever do turns out perfect, but for me I think this is a great update!
