My April Favorites

This April I have tried a few new things and I have some favorites that I want to share with you!

The first favorite I have, are these awesome sandals from Target! They are so comfortable, I have been wearing them around campus and can’t wait to wear them on my vacations this summer.

Did you know that Amazon sells really cheap, decorative pillow covers? They completely change the dynamic and color scheme of a room and can change for the season, your mood, or change old pillows to be more your personality.

With Spring comes beautiful weather, and that means spending much more time outside. That is why I got these bright and beautiful spring colored cushions from Walmart for my outdoor table set! It makes me sit outside that much longer :)

Another new thing that I am loving this April is putting cinnamon in my coffee with a little bit of Almond Milk. Cinnamon really balances out coffee and makes it feel more like a treat in the morning, all while boosting your metabolism. What a way to kickstart the day even more!

It has been a while since I took the enneagram test, but this month I have been going a little crazy on research! I love personality tests, it helps me get to know people better!

I have to say with moving into a new apartment and helping my family on all the ones we got, we had some tubs to clean, and I thought mine was too far gone…but luckily there are such things as Magic Erasers. They are magic! (this picture is after the tub was finally clean)

The target dollar section has been a much visited section of the store lately and they have had so much great stuff recently, and I love myself a good deal!

I recently found this new ministry started by two ladies, I heard about them through the Heart of Dating Podcast, but they have their own podcast, college ministry, book for building relationships, and a dating personality quiz. Check out Delight Ministries!

Another thing that has been so special to me this April has been discipleship! These types of relationships keep you so accountable with the Lord and show you how to have deep and safe friendships.

My church has been doing this apologetics class, and the guy that is teaching it is coming at it from a philosophy background. This makes the class very thought provoking, which I love when I have to try to sort through a thought or idea. I also love it because I get to take it with my friend Jenna!

My last thing that is my favorite for this April is that my bonus(step) mom is becoming a color consultant for House of Colour! I am so pumped! If you don’t know about the importance of colors click here. And then follow her on Instagram at @houseofcolour_darciez_omaha.
